1. Check Your Tyres: Your Contact with Wet Roads

Wet leaves and standing water can quickly turn a normal road into a slippery surface. Your tyres are the single most important safety feature when it comes to grip.

Tread Depth: Ensure your tread depth is well above the legal limit (1.6mm). We recommend at least 3mm for optimal performance and water dispersal in wet conditions.
Pressure: Check your tyre pressure regularly. Colder weather causes tyre pressure to drop, impacting handling and fuel efficiency.

2. Test Your Brakes and Suspension

3. Maximise Visibility: Lights and Wipers

Lights: Check all bulbs—headlights, fog lights, brake lights, and indicators. Ensure they are clean and working correctly. You need to see, and be seen!

Engine Oil: Check your oil level. Good oil ensures engine components are protected during cold starts.
